This must be the worst example of word usage I have ever seen - I think there should be a total reprint of the job, the designer fired, and the client compensated for this dismal case of wrong usage of the English language. A "calender" is a machine for smoothing paper.
The correct word is Calendar - which is a system of measuring time in days, months and years.
Considering the design is for a school - I presume the emphasis is not in the English language!
I pity the Children.
