Dave's Recipes
Work details
The website has been "under construction" for coming on two years now - I know this because I had to renew the domain fees recently. At this stage it is still not officially launched! I decided enough was enough and that it needed to be finished.
Fortunately a friend/designer at Neoco came to my rescue and turned a rough idea into some beautiful artwork.
From a build perspective the site is designed to be fun rather than functional. The header written in fridge magnets can be rearranged by anyone who views the site. This sort of feature would only really work on a small, personal, project.
At this stage the site is "closed" to friends; eg: it's not possible for others to register. Again this leans towards the personal website rather than trying to make something to appeal to the mass market.
The overall aim is to amuse my friends; hopefully it will be successful!
(the live webcam feed to my fridge has been put on hold but may be ressurrected one day!)

report this postIf you really have wallpaper like that in your kitchen I hope you have plenty of migraine relief tablets on hand. Still, a great concept that makes me wonder how many rude words can be made from those magnets.... ;o)
