Digital publishing is breaking on to the scene with an ultimate force that only Chuck Norris should have the authority to command. Bolstered by the incredible sales of tablets (read iPad — and maybe the android… but if we’re really honest, it’s all about the iPad), the evidence is overwhelming that this is the next step for those of us who humbly call ourselves graphic designers. I’d like to introduce the newest member of this great design and communication family tree — Digital Publishing. It’s like traditional publishing and the Web got together one night. With the candles lit and rose pedals spread around the room, they got a little freaky and consummated the marriage. 8x8 - Shock as speakers stick to brief and finish their presentations in 8 minutes!

What a disappointment! We didn’t get to use the air horn once! All our speakers stuck to the brief (that’ll be a first!!) and allowed us to enjoy 8x8 minutes of insight into their inspiration and what makes them tick.... more
