Biografia

Govan Basson is a Art Director/Graphic Artist who specializes in the Graphic Arts, mainly Graphic Design, Digital Illustration/Photo-Manipulation and Photography (Digital and Film). He is also a Web Designer, 3D renderer and Street Artist. He graduated from The Cape Peninsula University of Technology - Cape Town 2006. Govan’s wide range of skills and his experimental nature is what gives him the edge in creating both unique and dynamic personal and client projects. In this regard he is able to focus on clients specific needs. His small studio Totalkaos - Graphic Arts Studio implements Research and Development as key to their work process, making sure all projects and artworks are original in every respect. He has work experience in Media, In-house design, and has also done International 3D, Outdoor Media and Animation work. All of the above skills especially enriches his Digital Illustrative work in a way that expresses his philosophy: “One needs to take the time and put in proper effort in order to create a truly new and unique experience. Design is not just a quick expressive show of ones creativity, but a result of endless trial, error, exprementation and solid Research, Rome wasn’t built in a day and it still fell..lol.
