What inspires some of the most influential designers in London today?

In-spi-ra-tion: a divine influence directly and immediately exerted upon the mind or soul; an animating action or influence; a result of inspired activity.

The word inspiration recently kicked off the live 8x8 London Event. On 1st July, 8 designers spoke for 8 minutes each on what inspires them, where they get their ideas and what gets them out of bed in the morning. The sell out event, set up by ilovedesign.com, and sponsored by Quark and Design Week, was a real success and each speaker entertained the audience with interesting, humorous and occasionally surprising presentations.
